I am very health conscious! I read all labels and research products every chance I get. I came across YES TO products at Walgreens. I am very happy with the blueberry face moisture products being 46 years old. And also believe if you cant eat it don’t put it on your face. Great results and a glowing face! Here’s to being healthy!

Unfortunately, I have not found a good natural alternative to the toilet tablet. I have gotten over not having pretty blue water in the bowl though. However, I do feel like my toilet needs to be cleaned more frequently, since I’ve switched to a natural cleanser. I guess this is a common complaint. Standard cleaners leave behind a residue that coats the bowl. Natural cleaners don’t, which is why there is a quicker accumulation of build-up. I did a bit of poking around, and found 2 common solutions – Borax (Some people clean with it, others pour it in the toilet after cleaning, let it sit for awhile – even overnight, then flush.), and vinegar (Again, some use it as the sole cleanser, others spray the bowl with vinegar after scrubbing. Vinegar eats uric acid.) I also learned that septic systems contain bacteria that break down waste. Using harsh chemicals in excess kills this bacteria, which means the septic tank needs to be pumped more often. So if you have a septic system, you wouldn’t want to use toilet tablets anyway. You’re very welcome! I hope taking a B12 supplement has put an end to your canker sore woes. There was a period where I thought that may be what puts an end to me eating a vegan diet. Honestly, this is a topic that I’ve never heard of before. Most of the things I’ve learned about and researched, on this journey to live more consciously, are things that came up when I was studying something else – this documentary led to that book, which led to that website, and so on & so forth. I just haven’t come across this yet. Do you have any good sources of information to recommend? I’d love to learn more about this topic.

I know. I was bummed to stumble across Organics by Noah’s Naturals after they were already done. I suspect that’s how those products ended up in ROSS on clearance in the first place. I just did a search for the brand, and a Coconut Vanilla Sugar Scrub (which sounds yummy), turned up on Amazon. There were a few products on eBay as well. No lotion though. Have you tried ShiKai’s Hand & Body Lotion? It’s pretty creamy. Alba Botanica makes a pretty good body lotion as well, but their body cream is amazing. Very moisturizing. I'm not sure what brand the skillet was on The Dr. Oz show - he didn't say. But I just did a search for anodized pans, and a $25 skillet came up on Amazon. I actually just bought a ceramic non-stick skillet made by OrGREENiC. It's $20 and sold at Target, Sears, Bed Bath & Beyond, etc. Hope this helps! (ps: I apologize for the delayed response. We try to buy local and organic as much as possible. All the health benefits are great but in general we do it because it just tastes so much better.
