Organics by Noah’s Naturals – Review

September 28, 2010

In the past I know I’ve mentioned that ROSS is a great place to find natural body products, for really inexpensive prices. In fact, most of the things I’ve found at ROSS have been marked down on clearance. Well the product line I’m reviewing today, is no different. It’s called Organics by Noah’s Naturals. Noah’s Naturals company goal is “beautiful, effective, natural products at affordable prices”. Sounds good to me! None of their products contain propylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfates (SLS), parabens, phthalates, or petrolatums, and they are not tested on animals. Their packaging is recyclable as well. Noah’s Naturals is also a member of 1% For The Planet. 1% For The Planet is an organization where members pledge to donate 1% of sales to environmental groups around the world. So they care about the health of their customers AND the environment. Gotta love that!

I found several products of theirs at ROSS – shampoo, conditioner, and a couple different lotions. Here’s what I’ve tried:

  • Rosemary Mint Shampoo – Ingredients include organic aloe vera leaf juice, organic matricaria extract, organic echinacea cone flower extract, organic geranium extract, vitamin B5, and naturally derived fragrance. This shampoo smells so good! And it has a great consistency. I would definitely buy this again.
  • Rosemary Mint Conditioner – Ingredients include organic aloe vera leaf juice, organic safflower seed oil, organic jojoba seed oil, organic matricaria extract, organic echinacea cone flower extract, organic geranium extract, vitamin E, and naturally derived fragrance. I also loved this conditioner. And paired with the shampoo, my hair smelled divine!
  • Rosemary Mint Body Lotion – Ingredients include organic aloe vera leaf juice, organic safflower seed oil, organic jojoba seed oil, organic matricaria extract, organic echinacea cone flower extract, organic geranium extract, vitamin E, and naturally derived fragrance. I have come to realize that I like rosemary mint smells in the shower (Burt’s Bees makes a Peppermint & Rosemary Body Wash and Body Bar that I really like), but I wasn’t sure I’d like the smell all over my body though. Surprisingly, it actually smells pretty good, and the lotion has a great consistency as well. Not too thick, not too runny.
  • Coconut Vanilla Body Lotion – Ingredients include organic aloe vera leaf juice, organic safflower seed oil, organic jojoba seed oil, organic matricaria extract, organic echinacea cone flower extract, organic geranium extract, vitamin E, vitamin A, and naturally derived fragrance. Surprisingly, I preferred the scent of the Rosemary Mint lotion over this one. I thought I would like this one more, but it didn’t smell as beachy or tropical as I thought a coconut vanilla lotion would smell.

I love this product. It is definitely the best stuff that I’ve used on my body. It’s the only one that truly moisturizes my body perfectly. I can’t find it anywhere though 😦

I know. I was bummed to stumble across Organics by Noah’s Naturals after they were already done. I suspect that’s how those products ended up in ROSS on clearance in the first place. I just did a search for the brand, and a Coconut Vanilla Sugar Scrub (which sounds yummy), turned up on Amazon. There were a few products on eBay as well. No lotion though. Have you tried ShiKai’s Hand & Body Lotion? It’s pretty creamy. Alba Botanica makes a pretty good body lotion as well, but their body cream is amazing. Very moisturizing. You may want to check that out as well. (ps: I apologize for the delayed response. I fell off writing for a bit.)
