Today’s affirmation from the Center for Spiritual Awareness is: “Today I keep my eye focused on the life that I want. Conditions have no power over my focus, people have no power over my focus, no sorry past mistakes have power over my focus. God never gives a vision without a provision. My job is keep the vision safe.”
The part I really like about this affirmation is that “God never gives a vision without a provision”. This resonates with me because there have been times where I have come up with a great idea of something I’d like to accomplish or achieve in life, but then I talk myself out of it, because it seems so unrealistic, or because I simply cannot fathom how it would even happen. This is partly why I liked the book and the movie, The Secret, so much too. They discuss this very thing. They said that when you have goals, it is important to focus on the end-result. If you have the right energy and attitude and action, the universe will shift and bring you the people or things you need to achieve those goals. This affirmation is a good reminder of that. My job is not to discount my goals before I even try for them, but rather to keep the vision safe.
